Answers

1. What is the best age to start taking music lessons?

Our classes are suited for students age 5 and up, including adults, with programs offered in both popular and classical styles.

2. Do I need to own an instrument to take lessons?

To get the most out of your lessons, you should have a good quality instrument to practice on.  But if you don't have an instrument to start, we have a "Beginners Trial Program" that gives you the loan of an instrument for 8 weeks, along with 8 lessons and a book.

3. As a parent, how can I help my child if I don't have any musical background?

Our classrooms are designed for parents to sit in and observe the lesson. This will help when practicing at home making sure they are doing there assigned lesson material.  The more encouragement you give, the better!

4. How often are lessons?

Lessons are once a week at a regular scheduled time.

5. How long does it take to learn to play an instrument?
There is no definite answer but with practice and dedication each student will progress at their own pace and show a basic level of achievement within a few weeks. The most important thing is that the student enjoys the learning process.  The more fun you are having, the more you want to play and the more you play, the better you get!
